SSC CHSL Recruitment Notification 2018-19
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC CHSL 2018-19 Notification on 5th Of March 2019. This recruitment includes the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO).

SSC CHSL 2019 Age criteria

Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-08-2019 (i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001).

SSC CHSL 2019 Fee Structure

General Candidates: Rs 100/-
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation) are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government Orders.

SSC CHSL 2019 Exam Pattern

Mode of Examination : Examination will be held in a computer based pattern. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 2018-19 Exam Pattern

This is a (DES) descriptive exam and is conducted offline. Candidates need to write Essay/Letter/Application/Precis. This is to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. Focus on the Intro. and conclusion of the Essay. Apart from this, you need to be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.
Important Points:
  • The time duration is 60 minutes and carries 100 marks.
  • The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy.

SSC CHSL 2018-19 Tier-III Examination

Tier-III of the Examination would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature.
The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.

SSC CHSL 2018-19 Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the posts.
