Here is a good news for all government aspirants out as on the occasion of Dussehra, UP Government announced 56,880 vacancies for the post of policemen on Thursday. 

The important piece of information in the interest of job aspirants is summed up in the below given pointers. 

The process to apply online for the posts of Constable, Bandi rakshak and Fireman will start from 1 November 2018 and the final selection will be concluded until the month of July 2019.

For the vacant 51,216 constable posts, 30th November 2018 will be the last date to apply online while 1st November 2018 is the beginning date to apply for the same. Exam will be conducted on 4th and 5th January 2019 for which final result is likely to be out in the third week of June 2019.

For 3638 Bandi rakshak posts and 102 Mountain Police posts, the process to apply online will be practised from 5th November 2018 to 4th December 2018 in order to fill the said vacancies. Exam will be conducted on 8th and 9th January 2019 for which the final result is likely to be concluded till the last week of July 2019.

Aspirants interested for the Fireman job post where 1924 vacancies are calling you out may apply online for the same from 5 November 2018 to 4 December 2018. And Exam for the Fireman post will be conducted on 10th January 2019 for which result will be declared in the last week of July 2019.

Age Requirements: Only aspirants lying in the age group 18-22 are eligible for above mentioned exams. The set bar to calculate the correct age is 1st July 2018.

Education Qualification: Intermediate/ 12th Standard. You can’t apply more than once for the same post.

Exam Pattern and Criteria: The written exam will carry maximum marks of 300 were negative marking is validated.  The subjects included for the post of Policemen are General Knowledge, General Hindi, Quantitative Aptitude and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Qualified Candidates after passing the stage 1 will be called for Document Verification and on being eligible will have to go through Physical Endurance Test where standard bars will vary from male to female candidates.

Note: Aspirants failing the eligibility criteria in 2018 will also be able to apply for the post of policemen. A statement by the government officials that the govt. claimed in Supreme  Court that 30,000 vacancies for the post of constables will be announced every year but 2017 got deprived of any such claim. As a result of which aspirants qualifying the eligibility in 2017 but not in 2018 will be fairly accepted to apply for the same.
